Ceramic Clay: Hand-Building 2

Explore Ceramic Clay Handbuilding at The Cardboard Castle on April 24, 2024

Dive into the tactile world of clay at The Cardboard Castle. My one-day art programme invites young artists aged 6-12 to discover the joys and fundamentals of ceramic clay hand-building. With space limited to just 8 children, I offer a personalized and focused experience. The projects explored this week are different than the clay hand-building projects offered in week one.

Beyond Ceramics

While our focus is on ceramic clay hand-building, The Cardboard Castle is dedicated to the broader world of art. Embracing process-based art, I value the act of creation, encouraging children to explore and engage with different artistic mediums. This holistic approach not only enriches their artistic journey but also fosters a lasting appreciation for art.

Why Choose This Program?

  • Personalized Guidance: Limited to just 8 spaces, ensuring a focused and nurturing setting for every child to explore and create.

  • Creative Exploration: Delve into ceramic clay sculpting, crafting everything from whimsical creatures to functional art pieces.

  • Skill Development: This hands-on experience enhances creativity, fine motor skills, and spatial awareness, offering a foundation in ceramic techniques.

  • Varied Projects: Note that this day’s projects offer a different experience from the Week 1 Clay class, providing a comprehensive insight into hand-building techniques.
